I have the flu probably. I took some cough syrup to help me sleep, but it is defying all odds and keeping me awake. Huh. Imagine that. I don't really know what to do at this time of night (it's only 11:45), so I thought I would share the song that has been stuck in my head all day.

"A Better Son/Daughter" is probably one of the best Rilo Kiley songs ever. It is jam-packed with emotion, and it is brutally honest. It makes me want to sing along as loud as I can, my belly-deep singing signifying an understanding of and love for its message.
